And what is “Flak”? In German it stands for FLugzeug Abwehr Kanone, all written in one word = Airplane Defense Cannon, but I think that in the US the acronym is now used in a broader sense, which is ?

The Japanese were and are one of the most racist people on the face of the earth. The atrocities they committed against the Chinese and the Philippine people was horrifying. Try reading “The Rape of Nan King” and see if you still think this cartoon is disrespectful and disgusting.

stivmac is absolutely correct. If you find this disrespectful and disgusting you should spend a few hours researching the wartime period. Both sides were guilty of atrocities far greater than simple propaganda cartoons. Try a book called “Railway Man” by Eric Lomax and then see what you think.
